  • Ordering from DJMR Music Download web site is secure ?
Yes, When you provide personal information to us online it is encrypted through secure server technology using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). You can view djmr music download security certificate by clicking Here.

  • What is the "Security Code" on my credit card?
The security code is a collection of digits (the last three in the case of Visa and MasterCard) that are on the back of your credit card, usually near the signature box. Though the practice differs by card manufacturer, many times you will see all or a portion of the credit card number preceding it.

  • Why do you want the security code?
We ask you to put this code in so that it will be less likely for someone other than you to use your credit card. Those numbers do not generally show up on printed receipts (like the ones you get at the supermarket). Thus, someone can't just take a receipt and use your credit card number to subscribe to our service.

  • Are music downloads from DJMR music download store legal?
The music downloads are legal so long as you comply with our Terms of Use, including the End User License Agreement & Usage Rules. We only sell music that has been legally licensed for sale to the general public.

  • Can I move or copy my purchased tracks to another computer?
It is illegal to move or copy your music files onto another computer or device that belongs to someone else, as this constitutes illegal file-sharing and breaks copyright law. However, copying or moving files that you have downloaded from DJMR music download onto other computers and devices (MP3 players or mobile phones, for example) that you own is considered fair use and is allowed.

  • Why should I pay to download music?
When you download music from DJMR Music Download you will be helping to invest in the future of music. We believe music should not be free. Artists, bands, record labels and music distributors like us need to earn money for the work we do.

  • Do I own the tracks like I would a physical CD?
After paying for and downloading the music file, the track is yours to keep for personal use only. However, the same copyright laws will apply exactly as if it were a physical compact disc you purchased from a high street store. You can of course copy any download from DJMR music download on to a CD for personal use.

  • What is the sound quality of the music files I download?

  • What does bitrate mean? And what bitrate are the tracks that I purchase?
The bitrate of a music file is describing the audio quality that the track has been encoded at (converted to digital format from the original recording). 'Kbps' (kilobits per second) basically means the number of digital samples bits. The music files you purchase from us are encoded at a bitrate of  320kbps, (DJs prefer them at this bitrate).

You should be careful not to accidentally lose/damage your music files as when downloaded they are your responsibility. If it is our fault we will endeavour to resend the track.

  • How can I play my music?
In order to play a track on your computer, you will need to use the music player software that is installed on your computer. By default in Windows the music player is called "Windows Media Player", others players: Winamp, Realplayer. To play your track, go to the place where you saved the file when you downloaded it and double click on it. This should then open up your default music player and play the music. If you want to play the music you downloaded on a personal digital music player, (for example an iPod) then you must consult the manufacturers manual that came with your device.

  • I'm Trying to listen audio samples and it does not work...
I have Media Player installed, as well as Real Player and one other. However, in trying to listen to some samples from your site, it does not work and just come up with a Explorer error message, so I just wondered if you used something else.

To make the Player the default player for a file type, do the following:

Player version: Windows Media Player for Windows XP or later
    Steps
    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
    2. Click the File Types tab, and then select the check box of the file types you want to play in Windows Media Player.

Player version: Windows Media Player 7
    Steps
    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
    2. Click the Format tab, and then select the check box of the file types you want to play in Windows Media Player

  • How do I find the tracks I downloaded?
You can do a search for your tracks by going to the START MENU -- SEARCH -- FOR FILES AND FOLDER. Set the search parameters to check all local drives, then enter "*.mp3" (no quotes) in the search field. Once the requested search parameters are entered, click the SEARCH NOW button. The filename for the MP3 files purchased from us is usually in the form of "_.mp3". If you are downloading music for the first time, your computer will save your music to a temp folder by default. When the box comes up to save your music before downloading, you can change the destination of where your music will be saved. We recommend saving it to "my documents/ my music".

  • How do I copy or "burn" tracks to a CD?
To copy or "burn" tracks to CD, we recommend that you use the Windows Media Player (v.9.x). Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com to update your Windows Media Player. Once updated, please refer to the Help section in the Windows Media Player for detailed instructions on how to burn a CD. For your convenience, we’ve included some basic steps here:
  1. Create a playlist by going to "Media Library". Click on Playlist-New Playlist. Give your new playlist a name. Populate the playlist with the songs you want burned to CD.
  2. Click on "Copy to CD or Device" in the navigation bar on the left. Choose the playlist you want to burn to CD under "Items to Copy". Then on the top right side under "Items on Device", click on the down arrow which will bring down a drop down menu that will allow you to choose the device that you want to copy to. Choose the CD burning option.
  3. Click on the "Copy" button on the top right hand side of the Windows Media Player. That's it.
Note: Before burning a CD, we recommend that you shut down any other applications running in the background as this can be a memory intensive process.
